Description

Even though it’s a modest 104 acres that run along a mile of the Blanco River, the Blanco State Park is big on recreation and relaxation! You can kayak, canoe and boat here (electric motors only), fish without a license from the shore, swim, hike, and picnic. Speaking of the latter, there’s a beautiful pavilion and picnic area you can rent for your next special event! Pick up clothing, souvenirs, field guides, and more at their park store, too. Blanco State Park’s gates are open daily, and you must reserve passes online or call ahead to enter. Admission is $5.00 for those 13 and older; 12 and under get in free.
