Property Description

Here's an opportunity to escape all your day-to-day distractions and find blissful peace of mind while also exploring some of the prettiest panoramas in the Hill Country! The "Other" guest cabin at SisterCreek Ranch is an absolute paradise for nature and wildlife lovers. The ranch itself is located in a serene country setting, but also provides quick access to Hill Country towns like Fredericksburg, Boerne, Comfort, and more. It's a getaway designed to help you relax, have fun, and recharge!

SisterCreek Ranch breeds Tennessee Walker horses, which you're free to pet, but not feed. You can board your own, too; negative Coggins is required. Horse riding is only available if you bring your own, and no other pets are allowed. The ranch has miles of hiking trails, and its own meditation temple; your host can provide details. Catch-and-release fishing is allowed (ask us about water levels), and you can bring kayaks or floating devices! Lots of wildlife like deer and birds visit the grounds, and there's a chicken coop here, too!

The ranch has its own town called KickBack Flats, which includes Sniffy's, the owner's private saloon. It features comfy seating, the only TV on the rental property, a pool table, karaoke, shuffleboard, and even a massage chair. If you'd like to spend time at Sniffy's, let a staff member know. Ranch space is shared with another cabin, called "First;" let us know if you'd like to rent it, too. There's also an 1800s-era cemetery dating back to early settlers.

"Other" features a screened porch for savoring cool Hill Country breezes. You'll also enjoy a soothing hot tub (which may be shared with other guests), charcoal grill, horseshoe pit, and fire pit complete with firewood. Please note a signed release of liability is required to stay here, and smoking is only allowed on Sniffy's front porch. The ranch requires guests be at least 13 years old.

The air-conditioned cabin sleeps up to six, with a queen and two twin beds downstairs, and two more twins in the loft. Two full baths include shower/tub combos and basic toiletries, and bed and bath spaces come with clean linens. The kitchen's filled with appliances, utensils, cookware, and complementary coffee, and a fireplace stands ready for cooler nights. The cabin's rustic woodwork and decor create a comforting living space. The "Other" cabin is a true escape; there's no Wifi or TV except at Sniffy's, and cell service may be spotty on some carriers.

Bring your crew and kick back at the perfect Hill Country hideaway! Discover simple pleasures and surprising extras at the "Other" cabin at SisterCreek Ranch. Contact us for booking today!

Biker Rallies of Texas

Supporting and boosting local businesses and events is at the very heart of what we do at Backroads Reservations! The good folks at Biker Rallies of Texas are the devoted organizers of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the Hill Country. With major rallies in the spring and fall, they work nonstop to assure safety, organization, great memories, and a good time is had by all attending! They’ve got their start in 2000, when they arranged rallies in Liberty County and Kerrville, Texas. Two years later, they found their permanent home in Bandera. Boerne’s Hill Country Mile

In the hustle of modern American life, it’s easy to lose sight of an important cultural fact: it’s difficult to get everything done on your daily to-do list without a car. The larger the size of the town, the more true this adage seems to be.
