But you won't be totally isolated if you want some in-town fun; Tarpley, Bandera, and Pipe Creek are all close by!

Here's a quick overview of the birds you'll see at the (the aptly-named) BlueBird Cottage: vividly-colored painted buntings, cardinals, bluebirds, black half chickadees, and vermilion flycatchers, among many others. Deer, turkeys, kit foxes, and other species visit the grounds regularly, too. There are tons of bird feeders, and seating around them, for optimal viewing. There's also a 3/4-mile hiking trail on the property, as well as tree swings to enjoy. While small pets are allowed, they must not interfere with the wildlife.

BlueBird Cottage has both a screened-in porch and an open-air patio, complete with outdoor seating, for taking in those amazing Hill Country views. There's a hammock to relax on, and cornhole (bags) game to enjoy outside, too! In you're in the mood for BBQ, you'll find a charcoal pit and a fire pit where you can gather round and enjoy a feast. Please keep in mind smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

Inside this bright and beautiful brand-new guest home, it's bright and roomy, and loaded with comforts like central air, plush furniture, Wifi Internet service, TVs with a library of DVDs and Firestick with free channels, and even board games to play! There are two bedrooms here, each with a roomy and comfortable queen-sized bed, plus a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living area, offering peaceful slumber for up to six people. The full bath has a large shower, and there's also a convenient additional half-bath. Clean and fresh bed and bath linens are provided here, too! Biker Rallies of Texas

Supporting and boosting local businesses and events is at the very heart of what we do at Backroads Reservations! The good folks at Biker Rallies of Texas are the devoted organizers of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the Hill Country. Let’s take a look at the two major events they currently host.

Beautiful and comfortable home, well stocked, and very pretty land with awesome views and trails. Great location with lots of birds and deer. Our family really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!

Hi Spencer and Jess! We had a great time walking around the ranch and barbecuing. Our dog also got to freely run around for a change. We also loved the fully stocked kitchen and how well kept the house was. The only bummer was the rain which made the soil stick to our shoes. Overall was perfect for us.

When it’s time to unwind this is your destination. Great place to stay to go hiking and just relax. I almost cried because I didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait till I can come back.
