It’s conveniently located just south of downtown, and its grounds often play host to rodeos, football and baseball games, festivals, and other community events. Mason Park is outfitted with plenty of playground equipment for the kids, and a hiking trail is being constructed along scenic Comanche Creek. Its community building and open-air dance area is often where you can meet your friends and neighbors! Fort Mason Park is open all hours, and has RV camping sites, too; call ahead for availability.
