This unassuming little eatery in Tarpley has grown to have a national reputation! Mac & Ernie’s Roadside Eatery has been featured on the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” and “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.” They’ve gotten attention—and have inspired folks to come back—with unique offerings like their grilled pork tenderloin with sweet-tart Vietnamese dipping sauce, ancho chile honey-basted quail, and their famous Cabrito burger, all created with high-quality ingredients! Their hours are Wednesday and Thursday 11 AM to 4 PM; Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 4 PM and 5 to 9 PM; and Sunday 10 AM to 2 PM.
