For a taste of some of the best wines made from 100% Texas-grown grapes, plan a tasting at the Calais Winery in Hye! They’ve cultivated relationships with some of Texas’ best growers to assure the best fruit is the starting point for the fine wines they create. Native yeasts and fresh Hill Country water are also implemented into their vintages. Tastings here are unique, located in their underground wine cellar (affectionately nicknamed “The Cave”), for an intimate tasting experience on tables made from reclaimed barn boards.
