Biker Rallies of Texas

Supporting and boosting local businesses and events is at the very heart of what we do at Backroads Reservations! The good folks at Biker Rallies of Texas are the devoted organizers of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the Hill Country. With major rallies in the spring and fall, they work nonstop to assure safety, organization, great memories, and a good time is had by all attending! They’ve got their start in 2000, when they arranged rallies in Liberty County and Kerrville, Texas. Two years later, they found their permanent home in Bandera. Let’s take a look at the two major events they currently host.

Boerne’s Hill Country Mile

In the hustle of modern American life, it’s easy to lose sight of an important cultural fact: it’s difficult to get everything done on your daily to-do list without a car. Too many towns have been designed with outwardly-expanding sectors of commerce that put one business or attraction miles away from another. The larger the size of the town, the more true this adage seems to be.

Our time at Double U Barr Ranch was wonderful! The hosts were friendly and informative, the cabin was homey and comfortable. The breakfasts were SUPERB! We enjoyed watching all the animals that make their home at the ranch, from the ducks and donkey to the horse and deer. Even the cats were friendly and would come to visit our place!

Our stay started with the beautiful drive down the winding roads and over the bridge of Medina river, we were greeted by the owners and host. We were early but they were kind to let us in. The cabin is just as the pictures , everything we needed was there. The first night we stayed in and hung out on the porch and got meet the farm animal Brett was happy to answer our questions and share stories too. The next day we were happily delivered trays stuffed full of a great breakfast made by Brett. We road the day on our motorcycles and came back to the cabin to a peace night's sleep. It was fun feeding the animals and learning about them. This the type of place for families/ couples/small groups. Only a few minutes from town. We'll worth the stay!

The cabin is exactly as advertised. It is close to downtown Bandera where there are shops and restaurants to explore. The ranch has cows, a donkey, and a horse that my wife and I were able to feed and pet. The ranch is quiet and it is located close to other towns within 30 minutes driving distance if you want to venture further. Brett and his wife Jill were awesome as hosts and the breakfast they supplied each morning was outstanding. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed our stay over the Labor Day weekend. We plan to visit again in the near future.

Words cannot describe what a beautiful and relaxing weekend we had! We did some fishing and caught really good fish that would’ve been keepers! The most perfect moment of the weekend was being visited by magic the horse and pasta the donkey while fishing! The cabin is so beautiful and so clean! The breakfasts that they brought to out door every morning were AMAZING! We used the grill in the evening and we didn’t have to do much cleaning, it was very well kept! I will recommend this place to anyone who mentions staying in bandera and we will definitely be back ourselves! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Wow!!!! What a wonderful amazing stay. We had the greatest time. If you looking for a place where you can enjoy freedom the outdoors and in the same time for a great getaway with the kids. This is definitely THE PLACE. Jill and Brett are the sweetest and nicest people. Helpful funny nice is an understatement. Everyday a breakfast was brought to our cabin and everyday it was different and fresh cooked. Our daughter became a ranch hand from feeding deers up close to feeding the pony “magic “and donkey “pasta” and longhorns. Cute town close by where we watch a gunfighting show and cute shops. Amazing real antique store. People so super nice. I could go on but ......Long story short. Amazing and mesmerizing!!!!! Will be back soon that’s a promise !!
Jessica
