Before highways populated by racing automobiles, Americans traveled at a pace dictated by the speed of their horses! This period of our history is reflected in the collection of horse-drawn buggies, carriages, and wagons on display at the Buggy Barn Museum in Blanco. There are over 200 unique vehicles here, each with an accompanying history posted, so you can tour at your own pace. The museum also has a gift shop for memories you can take home. Out back is the Pine Moore Old West studio, a full set where westerns are filmed! The Buggy Barn Museum is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM.
