It opened in the 1920s as the Fox Hole, and this historical landmark (downstairs from the Historic Bandera General Store) is now Arkey Blue’s Silver Dollar in Bandera, the oldest continually-open honky-tonk in the state of Texas! Arkey Blue himself is a local living legend, and he’s built his reputation on his unique music and as the Silver Dollar’s owner for over 45 years. Arkey performs almost every Saturday night, and other local musicians grace the stage Fridays through Mondays and on Wednesdays.
