Born in 1987 in Boerne, Carousel Antiques & Fickle Pickles soon became locally famous for its unique pickle recipes; indeed, founder Billie A. Shaw became better-known as “The Pickle Lady!” Since then, Fickle Pickles has expanded to five stores in central Texas, including one in the Cowboy Capital of the World! Even though their website is loaded with recipes and online shopping opportunities, when you’re visiting Bandera, stop by and visit the store for a spell; it's loaded with unique gift ideas! The Fickle Pickles Bandera store is open Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday noon to 4 PM.
